Bilborough College is a sixth-form college on the western edge of the vibrant university city of Nottingham. It is a publicly-funded institution, part of the UK government
education system. We are proud of our half-century of history: we started as Bilborough Grammar School in 1957 and our transition to becoming a sixth-form College began in
1973. Since 2005 we have been based in a bright, new, purpose-built campus where we cater for around 1900 students between 16 and 19 years of age.
Since 2008 Bilborough Sixth Form College has been pleased to offer A-levels to International students who can choose from a wide range of subjects. To support our students
learning we have new science and technology facilities, a theatre, dance studios, large art studios flooded with natural light, music rooms and equipment, an animation film
room, and excellent sports facilities with indoor and outdoor courts and a well-equipped fitness gym.
Drama-related enrichment
Some of the enrichment on offer is of particular interest to Drama and Performance students, although they are available to all:

A Levels:
We offer over 30 A levels so there is lots of choice. Consider subjects that you enjoy and are good at. All A levels have exams as a big part of the
assessment with only a few having a large coursework component so you will need to be able to cope with exam pressure.Some of our A Levels have very specific entry
requirements so please check out the individual subject pages.BTEC:
BTECs have a more vocational focus so they are brilliant if you have a definite career path
in mind. BTECs especially suit students who find exams challenging as more of the assessment is through coursework. These are no easier than A Levels though and still
provide an excellent route into university, employment and apprenticeships.
ENTRY CRITERIA::
To study at Bilborough Sixth Form College you must achieve a minimum of 5 GCSEs grades 9 to 4 including English Language and maths. They count BTEC
Firsts as equivalent to one GCSE.
